Fork Lift Truck Operator Training.
Under the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) it is a requirement that all fork lift trucks have a thorough examination at least annually, carried out by a competent person.
Under the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974, it is a requirement that Fork Lift Truck operators are fully trained in safe operating practices. The penalty for not training your operators can be onerous, including unlimited fines and custodial sentences for company directors.
